Thought for the Month - May 2008 

In the month of May you always see a lot of graduations and weddings, many never stop to consider the importance of a marriage. 

Marriage is the first institution God established. He saw that it was not good for man to be alone. God made a help mate for man and performed the first marriage in the Garden of Eden. 

The first miracle of Jesus recorded in the gospel of John was at the marriage in Cana of Galilee 

God says in His word, " For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and be joined unto his wife and they shall become one flesh".   Jesus said, "What God hadth joined together let no man break asunder". The bible says in a marriage there is to be love and nurturing. Godly homes are the backbone of our society. 

In May we celebrate Mother's Day and in June we celebrate Fathers day. Let make our marriages and homes the blessing God intended for husbands, wives and children.
