A Wonderful Testimony
II Timothy 1: 12 "For the which cause I suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed;
for I know in I have believed, and persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed
unto Him against that day".
I thought of this scripture and of Job Wednesday night when one of our saints said, "The devil can do
a lot things to this old body but he can not touch my soul". The woman speaking has been a Christian
for a long time. She is getting up in years, has had a heart attack, cancer, really bad eye sight, and is
now facing an operation on both eyes. She with tears in her eyes had to give up teaching our adult Bible
class and a powerful card ministry she began in our Church. Her husband has been a Christian for many
years and a deacon in our Church, is so crippled he can not straighten up, in constant pain, can not get
around with out a walker, and very hard of hearing yet they are always the first ones to Church each
Sunday morning and evening and Wednesday night.
What a testimony this couple has been to me and the Church! Jesus is real and His presence and power is
always with us. He said, "10 I am with you always". Paul felt this and we who are truly in Christ have this
blessed assurance. Isn't the Lord Great?
